Creative mode in Minecraft is used for the creation of wild and magnificent structures. Students do not always have access to artistic or quality building materials to make impressive art projects and those who do have access to artistic materials generally get an advantage and better marks. With Minecraft all students have the same materials and this levels the playing ground so that everyone has an equal opportunity at achieving a good grade.
